Ali is a professional Make-up & SFX Artist and licensed cosmetologist based in Los Angeles. Originally from New York, she moved to LA to pursue her dream of being a freelance makeup artist for print, film, and television, and special events. Ali completed the Masters Program at the reputable Make-Up Designory (MUD school) in Burbank, CA, where she received her professional training in makeup, hair, and special makeup effects. Ali now works in makeup for fashion, theater, film, television and special events. She is experienced creating custom prosthetic makeup and her extensive skills include life casting, mold-making (stone, fiberglass, resins, etc), sculpting, running silicone, foam latex, gelatin, prosaide transfers, make-up application and painting. Before she attended MUD, Ali had been practicing the craft of body painting, special effects, and beauty makeup for many years. She started off doing theater makeup, painting, and sculpting at Fairport High School in New York. Growing up, Ali was always passionate for painting on the human canvas. She is inspired by makeup artists such as Dick Smith, Kevin Haney, and Ve Neill.

* Makeup and Hair $335 (weekdays) -$350 (weekends) (includes lashes)

* Please have no makeup on and hair washed/dried the night before
* At SF Studio or artist’s SF location. On location or within 20 miles of SF will incur an additional $85 travel fee. Parking fees if any, are additional.

(Please note: Engagement makeup & hair sessions should not be used as your wedding trial unless you want your engagement and wedding photos to have the exact same makeup and hair styling. The majority of brides want a more casual style for their engagement photos.

BRIDAL INVESTMENT (WEEKENDS)

Consultation & Trial (Required for weekend Fri-Sat weddings).
* Please allow approx. 3 hours at Maria Lee's SF studio. Arrive with no makeup and hair washed/dried the night before.

Please note: For large bridal parties competent assistants may be hired. Bookings are on a 1st come, 1st served basis. Wedding dates are not reserved until a 50% deposit and signed contract are received. Reserving your wedding date early is recommended since Maria Lee Make-up & Hair gets booked quickly. Please contact Maria for availability. Cash, PayPal, and all credit cards are accepted. Any gratuity is preferred in cash.
